How could we improve?

• By letting us know as early as possible what dates are available and are allocated to us. We only found out the week before.
• Offering a few more days. Keeping costs to a minimum.
• More advance notice. Only told a few days before and only got the timetable on the day of the scheme.
• Being introduced to the person who is going to be with your child.
• She thinks the scheme is great just the way it is.
• Maybe finish a little later.
• Offer days during other holidays - Easter, Christmas etc.

What difference did your child's attendance on the scheme make to their siblings and / or wider family?

• This week gives me time to do things with his sister that we couldn't usually do. It also gave me respite.
• It enables me and my daughter to spend time together at leisure.
• Provided variety to his school holidays.
• It gave me an opportunity to spend time with my other child who has to take a 'back seat' due to her brother's special needs.
• We spent quality time with his brothers.
• It gave me the opportunity to take her sister to activities that she is either too old for or doesn't like.
• It meant I could spend quality time on days out with my daughter.
• Made our summer holidays more enjoyable as it is normally quite difficult to find activities for him to try out.

General Comments

• He doesn't really enjoy social activities but this scheme he does like and is always happy to go.
• I need to organise school holiday care well in advance. He loves LfA so we waited for confirmation but was quite stressful not knowing if he had care or not.
• I was very grateful for the days offered. He would love to go every day. Thanks very much to everyone involved in LfA. The playscheme is a god send.
• He would like more time. He really enjoys it and he looks forward to it every year. The staff do fantastic job with the kids. Already looking forward to next year.
• All the staff were fantastic, friendly and welcoming and some remembered her from previous years. She enjoyed all the trips tremendously.
• He looks forward every year to this group. If there are others through the year please let us know.
